Christine’s Zazzle Success Story

Christine has seen huge success on Zazzle. She was on the platform for 2 years on her own before she started working with Jen and Elke Clarke in 2018. In 2020 alone, despite the effects of the pandemic, she sold over a million dollars worth of Zazzle products – that means  she was paid out over $100K by Zazzle in 2020.

To date, Christine has earned $230K in lifetime earnings on Zazzle. As mentioned above, our coaching has helped her understand how to grow on Zazzle successfully. Hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA) has also assisted in this undertaking, as Christine was able to delegate some of the rote tasks so she could focus on the things that add more value to her Zazzle business.

Because there is endless earning potential on Zazzle, Christine realized that hiring a virtual assistant (VA) was worth the investment. By freeing up her time from smaller tasks, she can create more new and desirable products for her customers and increase her revenue stream inventory.

Using a Virtual Assistant (VA) effectively has allowed her to focus on revenue-driven tasks, instead of the other tasks required, like promotion, that don’t necessarily need to be completed by Christine herself.

How To Grow On Zazzle: Hiring a Virtual Assistant

A virtual assistant (VA) is someone who can be assigned to any tasks within your business that anyone can not just you. This person does not have to handle solely administrative tasks. In Christine’s case, the VA she handles her promotion and social media. Based on our Zazzle business teaching and coaching, Christine knows how important promotion is to grow on Zazzle business, but since this is not her strongest skill set and it can be handled by someone else, like a Virtual Assistant with Christine’s direction and oversight, hiring a VA for these tasks is a great business decision.

Christine hired her VA through the site Fiverr. There are also other similar sites that can assist in your search for a business Virtual Assistant. For instance, the site Upwork is similar to Fiverr. Facebook groups specific to VAs are another free option to find an assistant that fits your Zazzle business’s needs.

Christine knew that she wanted to have a long term relationship with this individual, but she realized that she would have to put some time and effort into figuring out if the person she connected with on Fiverr was the right one for her Zazzle business. To start, she was able to see this individual’s skills showcased via their portfolio.

Initially Christine had the VA begin doing a smaller task for three months as a trial and training period. Once they realized they really clicked, the contract was extended to a full year.

How To Grow on Zazzle: Working With a Virtual Assistant

As mentioned above, it definitely takes some time and effort to work with a VA in a way that truly benefits your business. First, you need to be specific with this individual on what they are responsible for, what their deliverables are, and when the deliverables are due.

Even though a VA is paid on a contract basis, it is still important for him or her to have a clear understanding of your Zazzle business and your brand. This is where your initial time investment comes into play, ensuring that your Virtual Assistant is set up for success and that you are building a solid working relationship with them. Having that baseline understanding of what is expected is so important to the success of this partnership.

Even after the initial training, ongoing guidance for your VA is necessary. For Christine, she meets with her VA for about one hour each month, and touches base with her Virtual Assistant occasionally during the month. They set goals together, bounce ideas off of one another, and decide on the next month’s social media strategy.

Christine has built her product inventory on Zazzle and her VA uses social media to help promote more than what Christine had time for. This helped Christine scale her Zazzle business. This is just one example of all the things a Virtual Assistant(VA) can do for any Zazzle seller.

The Value of a Virtual Assistant to Grow on Zazzle: The Bottomline

sell a million dollars on Zazzle

Even though it takes some initial investment to onboard a Virtual Assistant(VA) for Zazzle and ensure they are a match for who you want to work with and that they bring the skill sets that you need, the value they provide to your business is well worth that time commitment.

In Christine’s case, she is continuously investing in her Zazzle business by understanding how to grow on Zazzle, what is important for her to do and what tasks can save her time by someone else completing them. Her Virtual Assistant(VA) has helped her grow on Zazzle by successfully managing all aspects of her social media. Not only is that something that saves Christine valuable time, but it’s a task that her VA is more equipped to handle. With a Virtual Assistant, Christine can focus on her zone of genius to help her spend maximum time on what will generate more revenue for her business!

You, too, can enjoy the benefits of a VA and all they can do for your business. While that initial time investment may seem like a lot, it’s well worth it in the long run when this person takes the task off your plate, allowing you to focus more intently on the money-making aspects of your business.
