In this episode of The Creative and Ambitious Entrepreneur Podcast, we share with you two amazing Zazzle success stories! Brandon and Christine are two of our students in the Profit by Design Academy ™. Before they started working with us, they struggled to make money on Zazzle. But by following our proven success plan and eCommerce Business Tips to succeed in e-commerce, they have now sold over $3 million worth of products in the last three years! Brandon came into our space about three years ago. He has a demanding corporate career, but he wanted a side hustle. He hoped to invest extra money into real estate so that he could build up a nest egg and retire early.
Before he started working with us, he tried to figure it all out on his own. He struggled on Zazzle for five years, only making a total of $2,500 ($500 per year.) He knew what he was doing wasn’t working and that he needed a proven strategy.
Brandon found us and our Seven Days to Success Course (everything in that course is now in our Profit by Design Academy™.) In addition to teaching him our 5 Strategies™, we helped Brandon learn how to target his products more geared towards the female audience as statistics show that 80% of Zazzle shoppers are female. It was also important to Brandon that he could do all of the Zazzle work in under 20 hours a month. We teach all our students how to utilize their time effectively on Zazzle so they don’t have to work more than 20 hours.
Brandon started out slowly, reaching $10K in take-home pay his first year. In his second year, he made $30K, and the third year, he made $60K. It’s been amazing to see his business grow exponentially.
Brandon meticulously documented his Zazzle journey. He generously let us share his story in episode 4 of our podcast and in this blog post. Brandon’s story shows that even if you have a background in business, you still need to learn from experts in Zazzle specifically. It really is a unique market with specific nuances.
Christine and Brandon have differing backgrounds. While Brandon is from the U.S. and has a background in corporate, Christine is from the Philippines and worked in her family business.
She always wanted a business of her own. Owning something apart from being in her family business would make her very proud. However, when she first started on Zazzle, she only made $132 in two years.
Like Brandon, she knew she needed expert guidance to succeed on Zazzle. She found us and enrolled in our course. In her first year following our proven plan, she made $10K. Her second year, she made $40K, and in her third year, she made $100K. That’s $150,000 in three years. And right now, she is on track to double that this year!
In addition to teaching our 5 Strategies™, we helped Christine understand the North American market better. While her English is excellent, it is her second language, and the American market felt foreign to her. Now, she is able to navigate it with ease.
Brandon and Christine are two very different people. They differ in age, gender, location, experience, and skillset. And yet they both were able to succeed on Zazzle.
What changed? How were they able to end their struggle? And what can you take away from their stories?
