It allows you as a Zazzle designer to customize beautiful templates that are ready for you to use to promote and grow your Zazzle business. These templates are free for you to customize and share. This will create brand recognition and allow you to interact and create social relationships with your customers and followers. Zazzle Create will help you gain store credibility and also make your social media platforms look amazing! In this article and video tutorial, I will tell you how to use Zazzle Create to grow and build your online business.
Use Zazzle Create to Grow and Promote Your Online Business
Zazzle, an eCommerce platform where creatives can sell their awesome designs on products, has a cool new feature that’s like Canva’s only better. Zazzle has opened up its a patented design tool to be used to create social media banners and icons to easily promote and grow your online business. That way you don’t need a costly graphics design program like Photoshop. Instead, use the Zazzle Create tool for free. The platform uses the same design tool to customize the templates available to you. As a Zazzle designer, you have experience using the design tool when creating your products. This knowledge will help you navigate Zazzle Create and design beautiful customized templates for you to use.
What Is Zazzle Create?
Zazzle Create is designed for you. As Zazzle says, everyone is creative and we want to express ourselves. Not only does Zazzle allow you to create and sell products, it now gives you the opportunity to share your creative ideas socially.
It Creates:
- Is totally digital. Unlike products made in the Zazzle marketplace that are physical, Zazzle Create allows you to make digital products.
- Gives you a large selection of digital templates to choose from. You can use the templates as is or you can 100% customize them.
- Is completely free! Unlike Photoshop or other graphic creation websites, you don’t have to pay anything. You do not need to purchase an upgrade to get access to more templates. Everything is available for you to use completely free of charge.
- Allows you to use their templates to create products that you can purchase. Unfortunately at the moment, you cannot post them for sale in your store. However, you can purchase them for yourself or gift them to someone.

The best part of the new tool is that it offers so many different templates for you to use. They come in multiple different design styles, colors, and fonts. Zazzle Create uses trending social media style formats. This way you can make your designs look stylish and hip! The templates also come in multiple different dimensions. They have got you covered. All you need to do is choose a template that works for you and start designing!

Choose A Template Style and Change the Dimensions
A great feature of Zazzle Create is that you can choose a certain design style that you like no matter the original dimension of the template and change it for a different one. For example, if you like a style of template that is offered in the Facebook Banners and Headers section, but you want to use it to create a Youtube channel icon, you can change the dimensions. You can do this in three easy steps. Keep in mind that if you choose a vertical design style to start with and change it into a horizontal one, the design might be cut off a bit. You can use the design tool function to fix this after you choose your desired dimension.
Step 1. Choose the template style that you like. I have chosen a Facebook Banners and Headers template.
Step 2: Click on ‘Formats’ on the left-hand size of the design tool and choose which social media platform you wish. I have chosen YouTube.
Step 3: On the right-hand side of the design tool click on ‘size’ and choose your desired size. I have chosen the ‘channel icon’.
Use the Design Tool to Edit Your Template
Now it is time to start creating! You can edit everything on this template just like when you are creating Zazzle products. The design tool allows you to change images, and colors, add text shapes, crop, resize, and more! You can completely change this template or use it as is. Zazzle Create uses copyright-free images and fonts in templates. This means that you can use this template right away on your social media platforms. However, to create brand recognition to grow and promote your online business, you want to customize the template to show your brand.
I have taken this template style and customized it to create brand recognition for my Zazzle store, Antique Chandelier. Changed the image to a floral graphic that I use in my Zazzle designs and I have added my store name to the design. I can now share this on my social media to engage my followers and show them what my store is all about!
Download Your Design and Share
Once your design is done, all you have to do is click the download button in the top right-hand corner. It is as easy as that! Now you are ready to use it on your social media platform.
Create Products that You Can Purchase with Your Zazzle Create Designs
Want to create merch for your Zazzle store? Merchandise is becoming a popular way for business owners to promote their brands. Now you can take the design you have created from this template and put it on a Zazzle product that you can purchase. Use the product yourself or gift it to someone you know! This will help strengthen your brand and grow your business.
After you have finished creating your design, click on the left-hand side on ‘Products’. You can choose from a selection of Zazzle products that the Zazzle Create tool offers. Now your design will be automatically put on a physical product! Make sure the dimensions are correct. If the design is cut off, you can always adjust this using the design tool.
