Purchasing online has become extremely popular over the last couple of years. It has become the new way to buy things. Although customers have more confidence in buying online, what makes them purchase the item? They are inspired. The product looks enticing. It engages the customer. Why is this? The product is showcased in an attractive way where the customer can envision themselves using it.
When you stage and style a product, a potential customer feels more comfortable purchasing it. They create a relationship with the product. For example, if you stage a product of a canvas print, they can picture it in their home above their sofa. You want to create this sensation with your future customers.

As I mentioned above, you want to create inspiration with your products. Being a virtual product, the customer cannot touch or try out what they are buying. You want them to understand that although they are buying on a virtual platform, they will be purchasing a physical product. They need to envision what the product will look like. By creating a staged photo or a mock-up of your product, you are giving them the confidence they need to purchase.
Zazzle uses mock-ups to promote products on its website. It shows the customer exactly how the finished product will look like. When products are shown this way, the customer is more likely to buy.

When you promote through social media, you are building your brand and attracting external traffic to your Zazzle store. You can easily set up a Pinterest or Instagram account to share these photos. You might not have any social media accounts associated with your Zazzle store yet. Not to worry. Create an account using the same name as your Zazzle store to create brand recognition. Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, and blogging are great options to get started. Once you have a social media account, start sharing the styled photography you have created to promote interest and brand recognition.
When you use the #zazzlemade hashtag on Instagram, you have the possibility of being promoted on Zazzle’s Instagram profile.
Increase Your Referral Income by Promoting Your Products
Now that you have your social media account and styled photography of your products, it is time to add your special referral ID code to the link. Zazzle’s platform makes it extremely easy to copy this specific URL and paste to your social media sites. When you are on the product you want to promote on Zazzle, click the easy share link at the bottom of the product. Click on the ‘chain link’ if you want to copy the URL. Once you have copied the URL, link it to the styled photography that you have created. When you promote your own products and a customer comes to Zazzle through your link, you earn a royalty and referral income. For every referral sale that you make, you earn an additional 15% on top of your royalty.
