Instagram Tips for Zazzle Designers 2019

I know you have come across Instagram accounts that you like more than others. You create a relationship with them. It is because of their professional-looking profile and the content that they post. Their posts intrigue and inspire you. Therefore, you are more likely to purchase from them. Why? Because you have a connection with them.

Now you want to create this connection with your Instagram followers. As a Zazzle designer, you want to increase your chances of selling your Zazzle products.

In order to create brand loyalty and credibility, you need to:

  • have a professional-looking bio
  • focus on a specific niche and have cohesive posts
  • provide engaging content to your followers
  • give in-depth descriptions of your photos

Create A Professional Looking Instagram Bio

In order to first capture your followers’ attention, you need to have a professional-looking bio.

  • You need a photo that fits your brand. This can be a picture of you or your Zazzle store logo.
  • Put links to your Zazzle store or website in your bio description. This will allow your followers to find out outside of Instagram.
  • Add your contact information so that followers can connect with you. If you do not want to provide an email, tell them to direct message you on Instagram.
  • Write a short description of who you are or what your business is. This will allow your followers to get an idea of the type of content you post.

Focus Your Content on a Specific Niche

You want your content to be consistent. In order to look professional, your posts must look similar or focus on one topic. You want your Instagram profile feed to be a portfolio for your brand. By creating content that fits together, your brand loyalty and credibility will increase. You can add some personal content to your feed, but keep it focused on your brand’s purpose.

Provide Engaging Content for Your Followers

You have an Instagram account because you want to showcase your beautiful Zazzle products. In order to increase your chances of selling, you want to have eye-catching content. You want to engage your followers. Inspire them. By creating beautiful photos with your Zazzle products, you increase your chances of selling that product. This is easily done by using a photoshop program or mockup photos. When you create this type of content, your followers can picture the product in real life. They will see how the product can be used. This engages your followers and entices them to purchase.

Write Personal and In-Depth Descriptions for Your Instagram Photos

Instagram isn’t just about posting a pretty picture. Sure you will get many likes. But your followers love to know more about who is behind the beautiful photos. When you post a picture, write a good description of the product. Tell your followers a story or ask them a question. When you write a good description, you will create a stronger bond with your followers. They will start to have a more personal connection with you and be more likely to purchase your products.

Lorena Depante:

Social media has become a wonderful way for me to get to know those who appreciate my brand. I get to ask them questions and it’s not about selling but building a connection.

Being able to share my inspiration allows others to get to know me not just the work.

I create for my own family and friends, so I know what it’s like when I give them a creation. The Instagram posts I have given as examples are some of my favorites.

They include a shop link if anyone wants to purchase or know more.
I find Instagram stories really effective. The polls and questions help boost engagement. Interacting through DMs is the most powerful and people are more likely to purchase in this way.

Susan Frazier:

I use several stock photography resources for flat lays and in-situ images to place my designs on.

When I first opened my Instagram account, I was doing a lot of photography and not designing on Zazzle. I posted a few bird photos of sunsets and tropical scenes.

When I transitioned to a business Instagram account, I decided to promote my Zazzle products. I leave my old photo images in my profile feed because they serve as inspiration for many of my designs.

My account has allowed me to professionally showcase my Zazzle designs and engage with my followers.
