In episode 28 of The Creative and Ambitious Entrepreneur Podcast, we are discussing how you can become a Zazzle ProDesigner.
If you’ve been on Zazzle before, you’ve probably seen some designer distinctions. These distinctions are given based on royalty earnings from U.S. sales. You become a Zazzle ProDesigner when you earn $100 in royalties, and then after that there are levels that go from Bronze up to Diamond based on how much you earn. It’s deeply rewarding to be given these distinctions as you earn more and more income on Zazzle. Today, we’ll tell you more about these levels and how you can become a ProDesigner too!

Today we’ll be talking about what a Zazzle ProDesigner is as well as sharing our stories and some of our student’s stories of becoming successful Zazzle ProDesigners. You earn the distinction of Zazzle ProDesigner once you have made $100 in royalty earnings based on U.S. sales. It’s important to understand that this is different from the total royalties and referrals you see on your total earnings report. The designation is calculated based on the sales royalty earnings you earn from US-based sales.
Let’s say you set your royalty at 10% and you sell $1,000 worth of products to US-based customers. You would earn $100 in royalty payouts and since this royalty total was based on sales from the US, you would receive the ProDesigner distinction.
To keep earning higher ProDesigner distinctions, the royalty earnings that qualify are from US based sales. Zazzle is an internationally recognized POD platform, so you might earn a lot of money from sales made outside the U.S. However, the money in those sales would not count towards your ProDesigner status.
Once you get to that $100 amount, you get called a Zazzle ProDesigner. After that, these are Zazzle Pro levels and the royalties you must earn from U.S. sales to qualify:
There are big gaps between theZazzle Pro levels, and depending on where you are in your Zazzle business journey to success, it might feel impossible to move up to the next level. We promise you that it IS possible because we have done it and our students are doing it!
Jen is a Gold Zazzle ProDesigner and Elke is a Diamond Zazzle ProDesigner with combined earnings of $1.5 million to date! This kind of success is possible not just for us. Our students, who are implementing The 5 Strategies™ that we used and teach in our signature course, are achieving Bronze, Silver and Gold ProDesigner levels.
Two of our students are well on their way to Platinum Zazzle ProDesigner status.
We both struggled to make money at first on Zazzle. It took some years of trial and error, but we eventually found what works for us. I (Elke) made $90 on Zazzle my first year, so I didn’t even get a payout. It was frustrating and disheartening, but I didn’t give up. I knew I had to take a different approach. Now, we’ve sold over $15 million dollars-worth of Zazzle products combined. That means, combined, we have earned $1.5 million and counting.
