Zazzle Designer Success Story – Carlos Robles

Zazzle is an amazing online shopping platform(Print on Demand Platform) that provides graphic designers, artists, and photographers the opportunity to earn royalties using their creativity.

Jen and I believe that there is an abundance of opportunities on Zazzle for creatives all over the world to earn a living through passive online income. The secret is to perceive that it is possible for you and have the right training to make it happen. In this article, we are honored to showcase, Carlos Robles, a Zazzle Designer, and inspire you with his success story. Carlos went from earning less than $200 a month to reaching his total earnings goal of 10K in less than 9 months.

Carlos Robles’ Zazzle Designer Success Journey

Elke: Tell us about your Zazzle journey.

Carlos: I opened a Zazzle account about 3 years ago, but I did very little work in my store, just dabbling from time to time to see if something might sell. I’m from Ecuador originally, so English wasn’t my first language and I also had to spend a while learning how to describe designs as well as learning how to design.

Elke: Why did you choose Zazzle?

Carlos: I loved the idea of being ‘location independent. This was what appealed to me most about Zazzle. If I could generate an income online, I wouldn’t be fixed in one place. I love to travel. My ultimate goal, what I’d love most to achieve from my Zazzle business, is to save money up and buy my own home outright (no mortgage!), as a base to travel from, of course! I’m currently living in Tbilisi, Georgia, which is absolutely amazing. It’s super business-friendly and a very trendy destination for lots of interesting international travelers.

Zazzle Designer Success Story – Carlos’ Store – Stonking Stuff

Elke: Tell me more about your Zazzle store.

Carlos: My Zazzle store name is Stonking Stuff. It is a professional graphic design studio, specializing in baby shower invitations, weddings, graduation announcements, party invites, and personalized rubber stamps, with a wide range of designs, from modern minimalist to vintage. 

I have grown to love typography over the duration of taking your course, so I especially love designing invitations for all types of occasions!

Carlos’ Monthly Zazzle Earnings Goal – Zazzle Designer Success Story

Elke: When you started the course you set a monthly earnings goal. Tell me more about that.

Carlos: When I started in February 2019, I was earning about $200 per month. I decided to set my dream goal at $2K a month so that I can plan my next trip.

By following the Elke Clarke’s Zazzle Course Training, in less than 7 months, I achieved my dream goal of $2K a month. I also earned OVER $2K the next month, in October.

Elke: You also set a yearly goal for 2019. Will you reach that goal?

Carlos: I set my 2019 total earnings goal at $10K. I am pleased that after joining the course, 7 months ago, I have already earned $10,204 and it’s only October!

Elke: Congratulations on your Zazzle Designer success. What was the most valuable thing you got out of the course training?

Carlos: Structure and Motivation! When you work for yourself, it is so easy to get distracted or spend hours fiddling with something that, in all reality, is probably not going to bring a commensurate return on investment of time.

Your course also gave me the clarity that I needed, goals to aim for, and a proven plan to achieve that goals. The training enabled me to approach Zazzle in a professional way.

Elke: What did you struggle with on Zazzle before doing the course?

Carlos: Before doing the course, I hadn’t achieved very much on Zazzle. I’m Ecuadorian and English is my second language, so I found SEO a big challenge to start with. I posted stuff, not consistently at all, and without a clear goal to strive towards.

But thanks to the methods and strategies I learned from doing the course, I was able to achieve what I never thought would be possible.

Advice for other Zazzle Designers

Elke: What advice do you have for other Zazzle Designers who want to achieve higher earnings?

Carlos: Putting in the effort is worth it, but it needs to be strategized with a clear end goal in mind. Don’t set yourself goals that will make you feel overwhelmed, because you’ll be more likely to give up. But don’t make your goals so small that they fail to motivate you to keep swinging into action.

You must also perceive that you can do it and get the right help to make your goals a reality.

Carlos Changed His Perception of His Zazzle Business

Carlos changed his perception of how he can build a successful business on Zazzle by enrolling in The Profit by Design Academy™.
