Zazzle Success Stories: Elke Shares her story and how she found herself on Zazzle. Thirteen years ago, I discovered Zazzle. Zazzle is a platform online where customers can come and buy unique products to customize and make their own. What I realized as a creative entrepreneur just starting on the platform, was that I could create a store and post my artwork and designs for free. You start to get paid when the customer buys something, Zazzle takes care of everything else. You as the designer, can get started on Zazzle when you start to add things to your virtual store. I was amazed by this concept, I thought it was so cool. I thought I had to do so many other things, but what I realized was Zazzle so actually working FOR me.
I knew I wanted to be creative online and make money passively, my entire life everyone around me always said; “You will never make money being creative you have to find a real job”. I ultimately listened to the people around me. I got degrees and a corporate job and I ended up in the pharmaceutical industry. Even though I was grateful for my job and education, I was missing out on the things that really mattered to me. When I sat down and thought about the importance of family, time freedom and creating memories, for me, those things trumped listening to everyone else. That’s when I jumped into Zazzle fully and started to treat it like a business rather than a hobby.
Zazzle Success Stories: Jen shares here story on how she got involved with Zazzle. When Elke came across Zazzle, she shared it with me and told me how amazing it would be for me. At that time, I was in University and I wasn’t paying too much attention to turning Zazzle into a business. I would do it as a hobby on the side after classes. When I saw my mom making some serious money and treating Zazzle as a business, I wanted to make Zazzle work for me as well. She told me to treat it like a business and guided me on what specific strategies were working for her. She told me if I don’t follow these strategies, I won’t make the same money she was making.
At first, I thought I could figure out my own strategies. But my mom was making a lot more money than I was. Plus she worked a lot less hours than I did. That’s when I implemented her strategies that she used. These strategies are The 5 Strategies that we now teach in our Profit by Design Academy™ course. I saw amazing results. My income went from $100 to $1,000 a month in a very short amount of time. I was consistently making $6,000 every month in my second or third year. When I decided to implement The 5 Strategies properly, I realized I could quit my part-time job. I could travel and do everything I wanted to do with the money I was making solely from my Zazzle business.
What people don’t understand is how Zazzle works and how they can make money. Once they do learn more about Zazzle, they realize it’s a good online business opportunity that’s stable and long-term.
Anything Zazzle updates or changes on their site is always intended to improve the customer experience and increase traffic so that we as designers have more opportunity to make sales. Zazzle has the designers in mind supporting creatives with the infrastructure to create sustainable online businesses.
A lot of people don’t understand how Zazzle works and how they can make money on Zazzle.
Once people do know, they realize it’s a great opportunity. It’s a stable long-term business, that’s been around over 15 years. It’s an eco-friendly business model as a print on demand (POD) company. It’s also a family-owned company that will consistently make changes to support their business and the designers who use Zazzle to sell their photography, art work, graphic designs and surface patterns.
This is an opportunity for you to make money using your creativity, just like it was for us. All you need is a computer and internet. There may be a couple of expenses to buy graphics to use in your designs and whatever materials you’ll need. Besides that, there are no other expenses. You have a lot more profit and income that will come in for you. Approximately, 85-95% of our income is profit for us. We use some of this profit to buy equipment we need or buy the next program to further our skills. All you need to do to start on Zazzle is simply create a free account, open your first store, and post products for sale. Everything else is there for you.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story about how we got our start on Zazzle and how we’ve grown our business over time. We want to teach you and inspire you to believe that you can do the same. Everybody has the opportunity to make money online with Zazzle, as long as you put in the work. Work smarter, not harder.
