The program is by invitation only, but you can request to join. Click this link here and let Elizabeth know you learned about the program through us. Keep in mind that not everyone is accepted right away, and you need to have an active Zazzle store with a good presence. Once they accept your application, you will be ready to start promoting.
The great news is that you can get started right away, and you don’t need to know much about promotion or have a big social media following to earn money. When someone comes to Zazzle externally through your link and buys your product, you will earn 35% of the sale.
Pinterest is the best app for promoting your Zazzle products because it’s almost more like a search engine than a social media site.
Unlike with other social media platforms, you don’t have to constantly update it. Your pins can “sit” forever. And when people go to Pinterest, they’re looking for inspiration and to buy things. Because of this, we recommend all our students get a Pinterest business account and focus on Zazzle product promotion there. Zazzle is also fully integrated with Pinterest, so all you have to do is click the pin icon on Zazzle, and your product will be pinned to Pinterest directly. You can, of course, use other platforms, but we find Pinterest to be the easiest and most exciting for Zazzle affiliate marketing.
In the older Zazzle Affiliate Marketing Program, the affiliate ID number was attached to the link for you to receive credit. Those links can still work, but with the new program, there’s no extra code you need to use.
This makes it so much easier to get referrals because there is not a specific link you have to set up to get the Zazzle referral. If they come to your store externally and buy your product, you get the extra income. This opens referrals up to word of mouth too!
For promoting other Zazzle designer’s products, make sure to go to your account settings and get your Zazzle affiliate ID number and add it to the URL before pinning to Pinterest and posting elsewhere. This Zazzle affiliate ID number attached to the link will tie the sale back to you so you can earn the extra 15%. If you do not use this number you will not get the referral.
If you were previously part of the old program, you might want to repin your old pins of YOUR Zazzle products that have your old URL with your ID attached so you can earn 35% instead of 15%. You don’t need to delete the old pins because they are still working for you. But it’s worth it to take the time to go through your Zazzle products on Pinterest and repin the ones that have the most potential to sell.
