Over the past 10 years, I have built up a successful Zazzle business, selling over 10 million dollars-worth of products online. I worked hard, learned from my mistakes and made decisions the best way I knew how. But I held off on some big decisions, or didn’t even have the resources or chance to make them. Some big decisions are difficult to make because it’s hard to predict if they are the right ones. I’m sure you can relate. But in hindsight, I now realize that I would have achieved success much quicker, if I had made 3 big decisions sooner. In this article, I will share with you what these 3 big decisions are and make it easier for you to take action and make these 3 decisions sooner than I did.

3 Big Decisions I Wish I Had Made Sooner in My Zazzle Business

I am sure that you have accomplished many things in your life that are meaningful to you. Things you are extremely proud of. As you reflect on the decisions you made to achieve your goals, you might wonder why some worked and others didn’t. In hindsight, it’s easy to see how you could have done things differently.

But what if you didn’t have to wait for hindsight? What if you could use other people’s experiences to help you achieve your goals quicker?

In this article, I am going to help you do exactly that. I share the 3 big business decisions I wish I had made sooner. Ones that I know would have allowed me to achieve my success earlier and reach even more success than I have now.

If you also make these decisions sooner, you may also experience success sooner.

Treat Zazzle as a Business

When I started on Zazzle 10 years ago, I did not have the right mindset. Even though I wanted to make money on Zazzle, so that I could stay at home with my children, I still treated it like a hobby.

Once I made the decision to treat it as a business, my sales skyrocketed.

This was my first big decision that I should have made much earlier than I did. In my first year, I only earned $90 in royalties. In my second year, I decided it was time for me to treat Zazzle as a business. I created a proper business plan and took action steps that grew my Zazzle business into what it has become today.

With my shift in my mindset I began:

  • dedicating specific hours to work on my Zazzle business, no matter what
  • training myself to create desirable designs
  • researching what sells and keeping up with trends
  • learning from my mistakes and failures
  • taking action and taking different action if the previous actions failed
  • setting earnings goals for myself and being accountable to reach them

Only once you make the decision and mindset shift to treat your Zazzle store as a business, will you be able to achieve success.

Be Part of a Group With Like-Minded Entrepreneurs

It can be lonely as an online entrepreneur, designing on Zazzle. You work from home on your computer with little or no interaction with anyone. Your family and friends probably don’t even understand what you do. So it would be hard for you to discuss online business strategies with them.

The second big decision I wish I would have made sooner was to be part of a group of like-minded entrepreneurs to help me along my journey towards success. I turned to the Zazzle forum, but the top sellers were not open with how they achieved success. Also I soon found out that some sellers who did provide advice had not achieved the same success. They had lower Zazzle ProDesigner badges. That made it hard to know if their advice was the best at helping me achieve my goals. After a while I stopped using the Zazzle forum except to read the Zazzle news.

For me I never ended up having a group of like-minded, open and giving, positive Zazzle entrepreneurs that I could connect with.

I vowed that one day I would create this positive Facebook group and now I have done so in my courses and programs.

It would have helped me so much to have mentors so that I did not waste time figuring everything out myself. The positive encouragement and accountability would also have helped keep me stay focused and motivated to push through when times were tough.

Have you ever felt alone on your journey to be successful online? Do you think you would benefit from connecting with others to stay accountable, help with obstacles and keep you motivated in your Zazzle business?

Invest In Training For Your Zazzle Business

Have you ever had the feeling that you have tried so many things on your own to push your business forward but you are progressing extremely slowly? Or that you are learning from trial and error but you keep making more errors than achieving successes? This is because there is only so much you can do by yourself. There is actually not enough time to make all the mistakes on your own.

It goes without saying that you are dedicated, motivated and hard working. However, that does not mean you always know exactly the right thing to do in a certain situation to make your business move forward. It’s normal. I have experienced this many times.

When I started to build my Zazzle business I was making many mistakes. There was no training available on how to be successful on Zazzle. Through my trial and error approach to my Zazzle business, I have become very successful, but it took me longer than it should have. If I had the opportunity to learn from someone who had already achieved what I wanted to achieve, I would have bought the course or training. The training would have helped my Zazzle business grow and succeed so much quicker.

This is the 3rd big decision that I wish I had made earlier in my Zazzle journey, …. to invest in training for my business.

However, there were no courses on how to become successful on Zazzle when I first started. It was hard to find advice to make proper business decisions. There was no other option other than trial and error.

This is why once I figured it out, I decided to dedicate my life to help you become successful on Zazzle.

I believe there is an abundance of opportunities for you and many others on Zazzle. This has been proven by the hundreds of my students who are now successful after investing in their business and using the training and mentoring from my courses and programs.
