In this article, we share 3 tips provided below to gain more insight into the real reasons you aren’t making the money you want on Zazzle.
Money Making Tips, Point #1: Elke shares her story on how she went from making no money to making more money than she ever imagined.
When I started in 2007, back then it was me coming from my 9-5 job and treating Zazzle like a hobby. I assumed the success would just come. Later I figured it would be easy to just post products and get sales, I was not treating it like a business at all.
I would work on it when I felt like it, I figured any effort would make me tons of sales and money. Also I didn’t have high expectations for myself with Zazzle, but I had to figure out what I had to do to finally get to where I wanted to be.
I made less than $100 in my first year.
I was working for an entire year and I never got paid out. That’s what sparked my determination, I was in a cycle of working hard but not getting the results I wanted, and I realized I wasn’t working on the right things. Made so many products but had no sales. It wasn’t until I stepped back from my ego that I realized I had to treat this differently.
At this point, there were very few people online teaching you really good things about making money on Zazzle. This meant I had to do a lot of trial and error to finally figure out what worked for me to get my business to where it is today.
Money Making Tips, Point 2: Are you treating Zazzle like a business?
Initially, I didn’t approach Zazzle like a business either. I didn’t expect that 13 years down the road, I’d still be making money on Zazzle. It is a business and it can make you a lot of money. That’s why we continue to actively work on it because it is a significant income stream.
Now, we don’t actively work on it as much since we’ve implemented strategies to make this more passive for us. In terms of business owners, when you decide to do something passively online, you assume it’s easy but it is still a business you have to treat seriously and set up properly, which means dedicating time and effort upfront.
Passive can mean a lot of different things, including the ability to be making sales on Zazzle while you’re sleeping, but you still need to actively put up new products to get those sales and you want to make sure the products are desirable.
You will always have a component of active participation in your Zazzle business. We’ve learned these things and created strategies along the way to help us consistently make money on the Zazzle platform.
Money Making Tips, Point 3: Be aware of who and what you get advice from.
We’re a little biased when it comes to that since we have been on your journey and we have found a lot of people who give advice, and it turns out to be the wrong advice. It’s unfortunate when that happens, but you have to remember that you get what you pay for. You also have to check the source from who you receive the advice. Your investment is worth it – you need to ensure that you’re investing in the right person and the right advice.
You want to make sure that you are paying and listening to the right experts to grow your Zazzle business.
We want to make sure you are on your road to success, we have seen so many success stories with the students in our Zazzle courses. We feel very sad when other people come to us and tell us about how they’ve tried all these strategies or plans but it hasn’t worked. Usually, this happens when they go on Youtube or check a forum but don’t do extra research on the advice and where it’s coming from.
This is another reason to treat your Zazzle business like a business rather than a hobby, with a business, you’re more invested and willing to do the research required to make it work.
Money Making Tips: How to Make Money On Zazzle: The Bottomline
With a hobby, you wouldn’t care whether it fails or succeeds. With a business, you will do anything to make it work. Having this mindset makes such a difference and then you will see the success fall into place because you’re making decisions with expectations. Always make sure you’re seeking the right advice, following a strategy that already works, and while you’re on Zazzle, seek out advice from Zazzle experts, not Amazon experts or Red Bubble experts.
Thank you so much for reading! We hope this blog post has given you actionable steps to start and scale your Zazzle business so you can have the passive online income to have the location, and time freedom to live your dream life.
