Is the Zazzle Promoter Program 2.0 Right For You?
The Zazzle Promoter Program 2.0 has been completely changed for the better compared to the Zazzle Promoter Program 1.0, which was cancelled in September 2019.
Have you been looking for ways to improve your Zazzle POD earnings? What best describes you? You have been doing your best, working hard but just not earning what you want on Zazzle? Or do you only expect to make a small amount on Zazzle? We, Jen and Elke Clarke, million dollar Zazzle sellers, and our students are proof that you can earn a living using the Zazzle POD. In this article, we will provide 3 ways we use all the time to improve our Zazzle earnings. These are professional store branding, effective online marketing and sell without selling, using our signature 3 E’s of Promotion™.
“Customers will buy something because they know, like and trust the seller or brand.“
POD = Print on Demand. POD means that these companies only print the design on a product when a customer demands it (i.e. purchases it). Zazzle is a great option for you if you want to get into the popular e-commerce space that is exploding right now because of COVID. Zazzle, along with RedBubble and Society6 are the most popular PODs to sell on at this time. Each POD has their pros and cons. We will discuss these in a future article. But we feel that the Zazzle POD has the greatest potential for you to profit. It also has less obstacles and these are easier to overcome than ones you would face if you tried to profit from e-commerce using Shopify, Etsy or Amazon.
Plus, Zazzle is the only POD that let’s customers customize and personalize the design you sell. This option creates so many more opportunities for you to sell personalized items with text and photos. The list is endless as to the niches and customers you can serve. In essence you are creating templates for customers to make their own unique designs. It means you can sell more without even knowing exactly what the customer wants as long as you give them the starting point and then they can create their own unique products. That expands your revenue opportunities and we love how profitable that can be.
But before we dive right in, let us introduce ourselves in case this is your first visit. Welcome to The Creative and Ambitious Entrepreneur blog. We’re Jen and Elke Clarke. We are a mother and daughter team that started Zazzle e-commerce businesses over 10 years ago and have sold over 15 million dollars-worth and counting of products on Zazzle.
The Creative and Ambitious Entrepreneur blog is for you, the creative. We share actionable steps that you can take to make money in your e-commerce business. In each article, we will take you one step closer to achieving freedom with your time, location, and finances.
We believe that a profitable e-commerce business is what opens the doors for you to start living your dream life if you work smarter, not harder, use the right tools and follow the proven roadmap. We’re here to give you the tools you need to make your dream life happen. Let’s get started!
Customers will buy something because they know, like and trust the seller or brand (and in this case it’s your Zazzle store). But how can you do that when customers go to Zazzle and don’t realize that there are millions of designers behind the products they can shop? Secondly, how can you stand out with your Zazzle store to compete for the customer’s attention on the Zazzle platform if you are one of millions of stores started by designs on Zazzle just like you?
The answer is professional branding.
Quote:
“Customers will buy from your Zazzle store if they know, like and trust you. You achieve this with professional branding.” …..Elke Clarke
To create a professional brand for your Zazzle store you must have the following:
Each of these need to be cohesive, professional and support each other to build the trust factor with your customers. Your store name choice needs to reflect the products you offer in your store. The logo must align in style, font choice and colors with the overall theme of your store. We suggest that your store logo have your store name or at least the initials as part of the design. The banner and the rest of your Zazzle store homepage set up (see above list) must create an environment for the customer that says “I like this store. They get me.” This allows you to weed out the customers who do not buy from you anyway and makes the ideal customer happy to explore your store and purchase your products.

Customers can’t buy if they can’t find your products, no matter how good your design is.
There are several ways that you can promote your Zazzle products online to increase your Zazzle POD earnings, including:
Doing the research on Google analytics, Google keyword search and on the Zazzle marketplace, you will find keywords that suit your product that you want to sell.
Promoting on Pinterest and social media are key to getting your products in front of the customers who are keen on buying.
Using a website / blog gives you greater exposure online besides the Zazzle marketplace. It also gives you more income because you can make referrals / affiliate income driving traffic to Zazzle.
If you are ready to dive in and learn how to effectively market your Zazzle products and store online, we go in depth on how to implement these marketing strategies and more in our signature course, The Profit by Design Academy™.
On social media, our Zazzle store homepage and in any place where customers may find our products or our designer profile, we use our signature marketing strategy, The 3 E’s of Promotion: Entertain, Educate, Easy™. This strategy is geared to build on the know, like and trust factor which is so crucial to increasing sales.
Entertain: Engage with your customer so they get to know you and like you. This breaks the barrier and makes them more comfortable buying from you compared to someone else with a similar product
Educate: Help your customer understand how Zazzle works and why you are using Zazzle to be your fulfillment centre. You will also have to educate your potential customer about the products you have to offer and create a desire for them to want to purchase.
Easy: Once your customer is ready to buy make sure there are no obstacles in their way to completing the sale, like improper or broken links to the Zazzle product, or templates that work so they can customize the product.
