The best place to build your brand is to effectively use your Zazzle store homepage. Start with your Zazzle store banner. This banner is found at the top of your Zazzle homepage, it is just like a Facebook banner where you can add an image. Use the banner to showcase your products so that customers can see what is available in your Zazzle store.
Effective Zazzle store banner tips include:
Keep it simple. Showcase 3 or 5 products. Don’t overwhelm the customer by showing everything you offer in the banner.
Your Zazzle store logo must clearly reflect your Zazzle store name and brand style. You want the size, color and text to be cohesive with the overall look and feel of your store. If you have a store that’s minimalistic in terms of design and offers, then you will have a minimalistic logo, preferably black or white. Your logo will be quite different if you have a vintage store that provides designs that are victorian or art deco. Your font choice and colors in your logo should reflect the style of designs that are on the products you offer for sale in your Zazzle store.

The store name and a tagline written out on the right-hand side of the banner, next to the logo are super important. Not only do they show up on the banner but also next to your products on the product page. This particular area is where you can be consistent with your brand by using the same wording and messaging.
If you created a store name, when you started your Zazzle store, that you are not as happy with, you can use the store settings to change the store name that shows up in this section. The URL for your Zazzle store will still be the same as when you set the store up but the way the customer sees your store name on Zazzle will be what you set in the store settings.
Take the time to craft a catchy and concise tagline that explains to the customer what they can expect from your store.
The About section is a text box underneath the store banner where you can provide details about who you are as a Zazzle designer, and what you offer in your store.
We recommend you create an email address that isn’t associated with your own personal account. Create a separate email with your store name like “minimaldesigns@gmail.com” Then add a phrase like “Contact me for any customized design work.”
Keep your description short and precise. Such as, “Welcome to (your store name), this is the place you will find (repeat tag line)”, add that you do custom orders (if you want) and add in your email address. This text should take up only the first 2-3 lines in the About section so people don’t have to click on “see more” to get your contact and anything about you that is crucial for them to know.
Just like the store banner, the store category icons are an opportunity to visually align with your brand. If you have a store that focuses on minimalistic design, then you will have minimalistic store category icons possibly even in the same colorways as your logo. Your store category icons will be quite different if you have a vintage store that provides designs that are victorian or art deco.
Your font choice and colors you use for the headers on your store icons and the products displayed should reflect the style of your brand.
To build the “Know, Like, and Trust” factor in your Zazzle business through branding, use the Profile Icon option to make a connection with your customer. You can choose to do one of two things; portray your company brand as you the designer or as a design house (if you don’t want to be the face of your company).
If you are the face of your company (ie your other brand that owns your branded store) then use a professional photo of yourself and add your name.
If you have created a design company which owns your Zazzle stores (ie your other brand that owns your branded store) then use a professional logo of the name of the design company and add the name of the design company.
In the media section on your Zazzle store homepage, on the left hand side you will see the media section. Your customers will see this when on your homepage. It’s a great opportunity for you to showcase your brand or your products.
Choose what you add intentionally to support your brand. A mistake we often see is that this media section seems like an afterthought where designers quickly add any image just to complete their store to 100%. Instead add 10 images that strategically portray the vibe of your brand.
When you build your brand on your Zazzle stores and your Zazzle profile, you are creating a professional look that builds the “know, like, trust” factor which helps you make sales and grow your business.
